About: Generally, we walk between 5-6 miles, sometimes a little more and sometimes less. The walks are flattish but have undulations and occasionally a hill or two.

We take a packed lunch and usually manage to enjoy a coffee stop after the walk.  It is a very friendly, sociable group and there is a great deal of blethering on the outings.

During the inclement weather of the winter months we have ‘cultural and educational’ visits to places of interest or museums.

Where and When: Setting out from Bathgate, usually between 9-10 am on a Monday.

As we travel by public transport, the start time varies according to the transport timetables and the destination.

Cost: Free on buses if you have a bus pass; Train journeys dependent on destination.
