We aim to organize two to three short holidays each year, with an emphasis on affordability and popular appeal. In addition, some groups may organize holidays which are opened to the wider membership if places are available. Our holiday choices are informed by member surveys
Upcoming Holidays
Weston-super-Mare, 6th – 11th September 2026
Join us for a Network holiday based at the Royal Grosvenor Hotel in Weston -super-Mare. Its seafront location overlooks the Victorian promenade, the wide sandy beach and the lively seafront.
Excursions include:
- full day visit to the historic city of Bath, famous for its Roman Baths and beautiful Georgian architecture
- a scenic trip to Cheddar Gorge, with it towering limestone cliffs
- a visit to the cathedral city of Wells;
- a visit to the market town of Tiverton
- a relaxing cruise on a horse drawn barge on the Grand Western Canal
- free time in Weston-super-Mare to explore the town, shops and seafront.
