We aim to organize two to three short holidays each year, with an emphasis on affordability and popular appeal. In addition, some groups may organize holidays which are opened to the wider membership if places are available. Our holiday choices are informed by member surveys

Isle of Man, 13th – 17th April 2026

he Isle of Man is the only entire nation in the world recognised as a UNESCO Biosphere and an island with an ancient and enthralling 10,000 years of history. Journey through a landscape rich in ancient monuments, medieval castles, vintage railways, rugged coastline, sweeps of beaches, areas of natural beauty and sleepy villages where time has stood still .

Based in the well-located Best Western Palace Hotel on Douglas Bay, this five day holiday includes Dinner, Bed & Breakfast, all coach travel and ferry journeys and excursions.

Included is a visit to Laxey, home of the famous working waterwheel, a trip on the Snaefell Mountain Railway to mountain’s summit , an excursion to Port Erin on the Isle of Man Steam Railway train and visits to Castletown, Peel, Ramsay and Milntown Estate and Gardens.
